KAnother album cover by Forin and another reference to animation, more precisely to animated videoclips. The album by Rasmentalism is illustrated with a genre scene in front of a food truck. We can see two artists who, as the title suggests, went out to eat something (“Wyszli coś zjeść” may be translated as “They went out to eat”). A French Bulldog with a red ribbon on its neck adds to the humour of the picture.

An album cover design typical of works by Alek Morawski. Juxtaposition of contrasting, garish colours. Horror vacui realized by including items corresponding with the title of the album, such as tarot cards, a crystal ball, a voodoo doll or the central figure – a shaman with a face resembling sugar skulls straight from Mexico.

A contemporary vision of the Carthaginian coin is Grzegorz “Forin” Piwnicki’s idea for the cover of an album by O.S.T.R. and Marco Polo. On the reverse instead of a bust of some king or national hero one can spot profiles of both authors. The project created in 2014 indicates the artists’ strong position in the music industry. No wonder that one year later the record was awarded a Fryderyk Music Award as the best hip-hop album of 2014.

“Podróż zwana życiem”, according to the artist the most important album in his entire life, was illustrated with a cover by Forin. The album presents a mix of hip-hop and various other music experiences gathered by the performer over the years. The cover strongly refers to the aesthetics typical of animation. Just like a freeze-frame it depicts a woman falling into the peaceful depths of blue water.

Another album cover which can be found among the thirty best covers released in 2014 and up to April 2015 is the design by Radek Drutis accompanying an EP by Night Marks Electric Trio. The band skilfully combines hip-hop, soul and electronic music. Marek Pędziwiatr, Adam Kabaciński and Piotr Skorupki performed during the Red Bull Music Academy Weekender Warsaw where they had an opportunity to present their music to a broader audience. The colourful cover resembling a painting indicates an extravaganza of various sounds, which is exactly what Night Marks Electric Trio are famous for.
